Information on the safe and health operations of our hotel
Dear Guest,
Maistreli Hotel Apartments in Stoupa Messinia, Greece continues operations. We are here to provide you with exceptional accommodation experiences attaining the adequate hygiene, safety and operational methods. We feel it is important to reach out to you the actions we are taking to keep our facilities safe and healthy. Our team carefully follows the adequate cleaning, sanitation and disinfection protocols.
Given the current concerns related to the new coronavirus 2019 (covid -19), we have established new rules that, along with the adequate sanitation protocols, safety methods and operation procedures, guarantee the well-being of our guests during their stay with us. These rules include:
- New arrival – departure times:
Arrival after 15.00 departure until 11.00 (to ventilate the room by the previous customer) - We advise our guests to keep one and a half (1.5) meters distancefrom the person next in line while approaching any indoors help-desk (reception).
- Queuing at reception during check-in / check-out must be avoided
- Disinfection of keys – their placement in a special container for disinfection.
- Prohibition of entering the rooms to non-residents
- There is special medical kit available for the event, such as disposable gloves and masks, antiseptics, cleaning wipes, apron, long-sleeved robe, laser thermometer.
- Full customer file
- In the reception desk there is an antiseptic for use by the customer
- Regular disinfection of all common areas
- We are sorry but the bar of our hotel will remain closed
Floor services (cleaning, disinfection, housekeeping), rooms and common areas:
- Cleaning and disinfection program based on EODY instructions
- Plexiglass windows placed at reception
- Meticulous cleaning and very good room ventilation during the hours between stays
- Fabric surfaces (eg furniture upholstery) are cleaned with a steam appliance
- placement of individual antiseptic fluids in each room
- UV lamps used as disinfectant
- The daily change of sheets, pillowcases and towels should be avoided and only carried out only upon the request of guests.
Warehouse-washing machines:
- Strict observance of hygiene rules by the staff involved in the sorting of dirty linen using the
appropriate MAP (special disposable apron over the uniform, gloves and mask) - Used fabrics, bedding and towels are placed in special, closed, marked bags or sacks in order to
be transported to the laundry areas. - Careful separation of unclean and clean linen areas
- washing temperature 70+ degrees
- When storing clean clothing, care is taken to keep it in good and clean condition.
- Air conditioning and space ventilation
The provisions of the relevant circular of the Ministry of Health ‘’Taking measures to ensure
public health from viral and other infections during the use of air conditioning’’ with
emphasis on non-recirculation of air and good natural ventilation in rooms and other operating
systems (shutdown air conditioning when the doors are open).
Common areas (open and closed):
- Marking to remind customers to keep their distance
- In the toilets, users are advised to empty the basins of the shared toilets with the lid closed.

Αξιότιμε επισκέπτη,
Το ξενοδοχείο Μαιστρέλι στη Στούπα Μεσσηνίας συνεχίζει τη λειτουργία του. Είμαστε εδώ για να σας παρέχουμε εξαιρετικές εμπειρίες διαμονής. Κρίνουμε σημαντικό να επικοινωνήσουμε μαζί σας τα μέτρα που λαμβάνουμε για να διασφαλίσουμε την υγεία και την ασφάλεια στις εγκαταστάσεις μας ακολουθώντας επιμελώς τα πρωτόκολλα καθαρισμού, υγιεινής και απολύμανσης.
Λαμβάνοντας υπόψη τις τρέχουσες ανησυχίες σχετικά με το νέο κορωνοϊό 2019 (covid19), καθιερώσαμε κανόνες διαμονής ώστε μαζί με τα κατάλληλα πρωτόκολλα υγιεινής και τις διαδικασίες λειτουργίας, να εξασφαλίζεται η ευημερία των επισκεπτών μας κατά τη διαμονή τους μαζί μας. Αυτοί οι κανόνες διαμονής περιλαμβάνουν:
- Νέες ώρες άφιξης – αναχώρησης
Άφιξη μετά τις 15.00 αναχώρηση έως 11.00 - Προσεγγίζοντας οποιοδήποτε εσωτερικό χώρο εξυπηρέτησης (ρεσεψιόν), συστήνουμε στους επισκέπτες μας να τηρούν απόσταση ενάμιση (1.5) μέτρουαπό τον επόμενο σε σειρά προτεραιότητας.
- Θα πρέπει να αποφεύγεται ο συνωστισμός κατά τη διάρκεια της άφιξης/ αναχώρησης στον χώρο της υποδοχής
- Απολύμανση των κλειδιών – τοποθέτησή τους σε ειδικό δοχείο προς απολύμανση.
- Απαγορεύονται οι επισκέψεις στα δωμάτια
- Υπάρχει διαθέσιμος ειδικός εξοπλισμός (medical kit) για την περίπτωση εμφάνισης περιστατικού όπως γάντια και μάσκες μιας χρήσης, αντισηπτικά, ποδιά, μακρυμάνικη ρόμπα, θερμόμετρο laser.
- Πλήρες αρχείο πελατών
- Στην υποδοχή (reception desk) υπάρχει αντισηπτικό για χρήση από τον πελάτη
- Τακτική απολύμανση όλων των κοινοχρήστων επιφανειών
- Λυπούμαστε αλλά το μπαρ του ξενοδοχείου μας θα παραμείνει κλειστό
Υπηρεσίες ορόφου (καθαριότητα, απολύμανση, housekeeping), δωματίων και κοινόχρηστων χώρων:
- Πρόγραμμα καθαρισμού και απολύμανσης βάση οδηγιών ΕΟΔΥ
- Τοποθέτηση plexiglass στο γραφείο υποδοχής
- Σχολαστικό καθάρισμα και πολύ καλός αερισμός δωματίου κατά τις ώρες που μεσολαβούν μεταξύ διαμονών
- Οι υφασμάτινες επιφάνειες (πχ ταπετσαρίες επίπλων) καθαρίζονται με συσκευή ατμού
- τοποθέτηση ατομικών αντισηπτικών υγρών σε κάθε δωμάτιο
- Χρήση λάμπας UV για απολύμανση
- Η καθημερινή αλλαγή ιματισμού και πετσετών θα πρέπει να αποφεύγεται και θα πρέπει να διεξάγεται κατ’όπιν αιτήματος του πελάτη
Λινοθήκη-Πλυντήρια
- Αυστηρή τήρηση των κανόνων υγιεινής από το προσωπικό που ασχολείται με τη διαλογή
ακάθαρτων λινών με χρήση των ενδεδειγμένων ΜΑΠ (ειδικής ποδιάς μιας χρήσης πάνω από τη
στολή, γαντιών και μάσκας) - Τα χρησιμοποιημένα υφάσματα, τα κλινοσκεπάσματα και πετσέτες τοποθετούνται σε ειδικές, κλειστές, επισημασμένες σακούλες ή σάκους, προκείμενου να μεταφερθούν στους χώρους πλυντηρίων.
- Προσεκτικός διαχωρισμός περιοχών ακάθαρτων και καθαρών λινών
- θερμοκρασία πλυσίματος 70+ βαθμούς
- Κατά την αποθήκευση των καθαρών ειδών ιματισμού λαμβάνεται μέριμνα για τη διατήρηση
αυτών σε καλή και καθαρή κατάσταση.
Κλιματισμός και αερισμός χώρων
- Τα προβλεπόμενα στη σχετική εγκύκλιο του Υπουργείου Υγείας «Λήψη μέτρων
διασφάλισης της Δημόσιας Υγείας από ιογενείς και άλλες λοιμώξεις κατά τη χρήση
κλιματιστικών μονάδων», με έμφαση στην μη ανακυκλοφορία του αέρα και καλό φυσικό
αερισμό στα δωμάτια και στους υπόλοιπους χώρους (διακοπή του συστήματος μη
λειτουργίας κλιματισμού όταν είναι ανοιχτές οι πόρτες).
Κοινόχρηστοι χώροι (ανοιχτοί και κλειστοί):
- Σήμανση για υπενθύμιση στους πελάτες να τηρούν αποστάσεις
- Στα αποχωρητήρια, να συνιστάται στους χρήστες να εκκενώνουν τις λεκάνες των
κοινόχρηστων αποχωρητηρίων με κλειστό το καπάκι.
Ως μέρος της δέσμευσής μας για την υγεία και την ευημερία των επισκεπτών, των εργαζομένων και της κοινωνίας μας, παρακολουθούμε στενά τις εξελίξεις σχετικά με τον νέο κορωνοϊό 2019 (covid19) με τακτικές ενημερώσεις και καθοδήγηση από τον Εθνικό Οργανισμό Δημόσιας Υγείας (Ε.Ο.Δ.Υ.) και το Υπουργείο Υγείας, καθώς κι από πρόσθετους κυβερνητικούς και Ευρωπαϊκούς οργανισμούς. Με βάση την καθοδήγηση που έχουμε λάβει και τη γενική κατάσταση της ετοιμότητας μας, είμαστε βέβαιοι ότι οι εγκαταστάσεις και οι υπηρεσίες μας εξακολουθούν να είναι ασφαλείς και οι ομάδες μας έτοιμες να εξυπηρετήσουν τους επισκέπτες μας.

In Stoupa there is the old coal mine of Pastrabas, where Alexis Zorbas, also known as the Nikos Kazantzakis book, worked as a supervisor. The great writer lived a lot of time and wrote a large part of his work in Stoupa, inspired by his friend, Alexis Zorbas.Three scenic coves are formed in Stoupa with crystal clear waters, causing the lovers of the liquid element. The three organized sandy beaches are a pole of attraction during the summer months of many visitors coming year after year.
Stoupa is one of the most popular family destinations.Meet the region's restaurants with fine quality and variety of food, cafes and bars. Wander around in the tourist shops, souvenirs and local products. In the village you will also find two big super markets, with Greek and foreign press, hairdressers, laundry, gym. For your transactions you can use the two ATM's and in order to exchange you can contact the local tourist offices. Agios Nikolaos Health Center is 2.5 km away from Stoupa. It also has a pharmacy.
